Celebrating the Season with a Lavender Experience
As lavender reached its peak bloom, guests were invited to take part in a special Lavender Experience designed to showcase one of the Mediterranean’s most beloved plants.
The morning began in the resort gardens, where our gardening team guided guests through the process of harvesting fresh lavender. Surrounded by the colours and scents of early summer, participants learned about the plant’s characteristics, traditional uses, and its role in the local landscape.
Following the garden experience, guests gathered at Cilantro Lounge for a relaxed creative workshop. Using the lavender they had picked themselves, they crafted fragrant sachets and seasonal keepsakes while enjoying homemade lavender lemonade.
Introducing Our Organic Corner at Origano
June also marked the launch of a new Organic Corner at Origano, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy freshly harvested produce grown in the resort’s own garden.
Located within our breakfast buffet, the Organic Corner features a seasonal selection of vegetables cultivated by our gardening team using natural growing methods. Depending on the harvest, guests can find a variety of fresh produce including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, leafy greens, and aromatic herbs.
By bringing ingredients directly from garden to table, we reduce food miles while ensuring exceptional freshness and flavour. The initiative also allows guests to experience a more authentic connection to the local growing season and the work that goes into producing quality ingredients.
From harvesting lavender and creating handmade crafts to enjoying vegetables picked just steps away from the breakfast table, these June initiatives highlight how small, meaningful experiences can contribute to a more sustainable way of travelling.
