Sun Gardens Dubrovnik does not have a resort fee.

Unless specified differently, there is no minimum stay requirement.

Yes, but for reservation of seven (7) days or more, the Resort reserves the right to require a deposit to secure the reservation.

Access to the Sports centre and SPA centre is included in the room rate, but some facilities and services may incur an additional charge.

We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in Hotel, and room-only accommodation in Residences. Breakfast can be purchased additionally. However, restaurants within the resort operate on a la carte basis for lunch and dinner.

For Residences, buffet breakfast supplement is 25 Euro per adult per day and 12.5 Euro per child (from 2 to 11 years) per day. Children from 12 years are considered as adults.

Sun Gardens Dubrovnik offers a wide range of accommodation options, including 201 hotel rooms and suites, 207 fully equipped residences and 5-bedroom villa with private pool. The hotel features Standard, Deluxe and Club Rooms, as well as elegant Suites including Executive and Presidential options. The spacious One-, Two- and Three-Bedroom Residences are ideal for families and longer stays, offering fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living areas, and private balconies or terraces with garden or sea views. In-resort 5-Bedroom authentic Dalmatian Villa with impressive 662 sqm / 7125 sqft of indoor and outdoor space with private pool offers complete privacy and seclusion with unrivalled sea views of the crystal blue Adriatic.

Suites are larger, featuring separate living areas and/or enhanced views,  to offer extra space and comfort.

All rooms have seaside setting, but some Standard Rooms offer limited sea views, while Deluxe Rooms are on higher floors and offer better sea views.

Residences at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik are type of self-catering accommodation (apartments) featuring fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas, and private terraces or balconies. They are ideal for families or guests seeking more independence and flexibility during their stay at the resort.

The resort features One-, Two-, and Three-Bedroom residences with garden and sea views.

A One-bedroom Residence (45 – 65 sqm / 484 – 700 sqft) accommodates up to 3 people (the third person sleeps on a pull-out sofa). A Two-bedroom Residence (80 – 100 sqm /  861 – 1077 sqft) can host up to 5 people (5th guests sleep on pull-out sofas). A Three-bedroom Residence (125 sqm / 1350 sqft) can host up to 7 people (7th guests sleep on pull-out sofas). Children sleeping in a baby cot are additional.

Our in-resort Villa can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms.

All room types have same access to resort facilities and services, including Residences and Villa.

The Resort offers accessible rooms located in the main hotel building: Standard, Deluxe and Club Rooms. Accessible rooms have wider doors, lower sink and walk-in shower, however, in-show handles are not available.  

Babies are classified 0-1,99 age, children 2-11,99 years. Babies up to 2 years old can are accommodated free of charge when sleeping in a baby cot. Complimentary baby cots are available upon request. Hotel suites can accommodate a third person on a rollaway extra bed with an additional charge of 70 EUR per night.

Baby cots are available for children 0-2 upon request and free of charge and can fit in all rooms and residences.

Sun Gardens Dubrovnik doesn't have rooms with a hot tub.

Yes. Adjoining or connecting rooms are available upon request and subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Items that are provided are: dishwasher, refrigerator, integrated hood, cooking rings, microwave, cooking accessories, utensils, toaster, cutlery, dishware and cookware, counter top table and 4-8 persons dining table.

Washing facilities are not available. However, we offer professional laundry and dry-cleaning services for an additional charge.

Hotel rooms can be arranged with twin beds, subject to availability.

One-bedroom Residences feature a double bed in the bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room area. Twin beds are not available in this room type.

All Deluxe Two-bedroom sea view Residences feature a double bed in one and twin beds in other bedroom. Other types of Two-bedroom Residences can have twin beds in one of the bedrooms, upon request and subject to availability.

Deluxe Residences are larger in size and feature a bigger balcony or terrace, and an additional toilet.

Front desk operates 24/7.

Check-out is at 11:00 a.m., while check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. for hotel rooms and 4:00 p.m. for residences. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to enjoy the resort facilities while we prepare your accommodation, and our Reception team will be happy to assist with luggage storage or any additional needs during the wait.

 Yes, both early check-in and late check-out are available upon availability. Late check-out is complimentary until 1:00 PM upon availability.

Yes, we offer group minibus transfers to and from the city centre according to a set schedule (€10 per person per transfer). For more comfort, we also provide luxury private transfers to/from the airport, city centre, or other locations. All transfers can be easily booked via our resort APP.

Our team speaks English and Croatian language.

City tax is a mandatory local fee required by Croatian law and applied to all overnight stays. It supports the maintenance of public infrastructure, tourism services, and destination development in Dubrovnik. The tax is charged per person, per night and is not included in the accommodation rate unless stated otherwise. City tax for 2026 is 2,65 EUR for the months from April to September, and 1,85 EUR for all other months.

Complimentary luggage storage is available at the Front desk for early arrivals and late departures.

Porterage service is available to assist with luggage upon arrival and departure.

By law, all guests in Croatia are required to present valid ID or passport for registration purposes at check-in.

Housekeeping operates daily. If you prefer a specific cleaning time, please inform Reception and we will gladly accommodate your preference.

When the sign is placed on your door, our staff will not knock or enter. If you also wish to avoid receiving phone calls during that time, the Reception should be notified.

You can choose from several options: anatomical pillow, memory cushion, anti-allergic pillow, or sleeve cushion. Contact Reception to request a change or contact us in advance.

Simply contact Reception and they will arrange additional items for you.

To support our sustainability efforts, we endorse a re-use towel program. If you would like your towels replaced, simply leave them on the floor. If you prefer to reuse them, please leave them hanging. This small practice helps us reduce water and energy consumption while maintaining your comfort.

You may use the safe in your closet or leave valuables at Reception or with the Concierge. Instructions are provided in the room, and Reception can assist if needed. The Hotel assumes no responsibility for valuables left in safe or elsewhere in the guest room.

Yes, power adapters are available upon request, but with limited quantity.

This is part of our energy-saving program. The air conditioning automatically shuts off when doors or windows are open.

Most rooms include an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. If not available, you can request one free of charge by contacting Reception.

If you lose or find an item, please inform any member of our staff. We have an internal system to track all reported items and will do our best to assist you. If a lost item is located during your stay, it will be returned directly to your room. Should you realize an item is missing after your departure, please contact us at [email protected]. We will investigate, and if the item is found, it can be shipped to your home address (postage fees apply).

A doctor is available on call at an extra charge, and the nearest pharmacy is located a short drive from the resort in the next village Zaton.

For urgent medical assistance, dial 194 to reach the emergency department of Dubrovnik General Hospital.

The resort features 3 outdoor pools (Sunset Pool, Lemonia Pool and Marina Pool), and an indoor pool within Spa centre. The resort beach NUKU offers complimentary sunbeds and parasols for resort guests, while cabanas and lounges in the Vip section NUKU select are at extra charge. The SPA centre Yes to Beauty also includes indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas, treatment rooms, and relax lounge. The multifunctional Sports Centre offers a big range of indoor and outdoor facilities and services. Some facilities are available seasonally.

Sunset and Lemonia Pools are family-friendly with separate children pool and some water features, while Marina Pool is adults-only (16+).

Outdoor pool working hours are 10:00 – 18:00 / 19:00 depending on the month. Please refer to the resort APP for all hours.

Towels are available at the towel stations located by every pool and on the beach.

Outdoor pools are not heated.

Outdoor swimming pools are reserved exclusively for resort guests. The indoor pool at the Spa Centre is accessible to visitors with a Spa Day Pass. Beach access is open to all, but beach chairs and parasols are available to resort guests or can be rented for an additional fee.

The resort NUKU Beach, offers a comfortable and well-equipped seaside experience. Guests can enjoy a pebble beach area with complimentary sun loungers and parasols reserved for resort guests, as well as the paved NUKU Select zone featuring premium loungers and cabanas available for hire. Additional facilities include showers, toilets, and a beach bar serving refreshing drinks throughout the day.

Yes, the Adriatic Sea is known for its exceptional cleanliness and clarity. The beach is regularly maintained, and the sea quality is monitored in line with Croatian standards, making it safe and enjoyable for swimming throughout the season.

During the summer, guests can enjoy Jet Ski rides and Jet Ski Safari experiences directly from the resort pier - a great way to explore the nearby island of Koločep (Kalamota) and the Adriatic coastline.

 With our resort APP, guests can conveniently order food and drinks from one of our pool bars or the beach, directly from the comfort of their lounger. Simply open the app, use the ordering feature to scan the label on your lounger, browse the menu, and place your order. Then sit back and relax - your items will arrive shortly after the order is confirmed.

The beach is located within the resort and is directly accessible on foot. Guests can easily reach NUKU Beach from their accommodation without the need for any transportation.

Yes, the resort offers a Kids’ Club during the high season, with a varied programme of daily and evening activities designed for different age groups. Children can take part in creative workshops, sports activities, themed games and supervised entertainment led by our experienced team. During the summer months, the programme also includes family-friendly evening events, performances and outdoor activities, ensuring that both children and parents can enjoy a relaxed and engaging holiday experience together.

The Kids’ Club operates from the end of May to the mid-September, offering daily supervised activities for children.

When the Kids’ Club is not in operation, children can enjoy the unsupervised playroom at the Sports Centre, the gaming corner for older kids, and the outdoor playground, providing safe and engaging options for all ages.

Sun Gardens Dubrovnik offers a dedicated Children’s Sports Academy for kids aged 7 to 15, featuring a variety of professional training programmes. Children can choose from football, tennis, squash, and swimming, all led by experienced coaches in a safe and engaging environment. The programmes are designed to help children develop skills, stay active, and enjoy sport during their holiday.

The Campioni Soccer Academy takes place on selected weeks throughout the 2026 season, on the following dates: 25–29 May, 6–10 July, 13–17 July, 17–21 August, 24–28 August, and 26–30 October. The programme features coaching from well-known names such as Dion Dublin, Darren Purse, Michael Johnson, Andy Cole, Denis Irwin, Franny Benali, Kevin Phillips, Jay Bothroyd, and Stuart Pearce. Children also receive a full kit package (shirt, shorts, socks, cap, water bottle, and bag), take part in special events such as a welcome reception with football legends, a mid-week parents’ match, and a final medal presentation at the end of the week.

The resort features the Yes to Beauty Wellness & Spa, offering a wide range of treatments and facilities dedicated to relaxation and wellbeing. Guests can choose from personalised massages, facial and body treatments, beauty services and signature rituals. The wellness area also includes an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and relaxation zone, providing a calm environment to unwind throughout the year.

Massages are available at the Spa Centre, while physiotherapy treatments, including INDIBA therapy, are offered at the Sports Centre. Both can be booked through the resort APP.

The Sports Centre offers a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor facilities suitable for both recreational guests and those seeking a more active stay. Indoor amenities include a fully equipped gym, a fitness studio with group classes, an indoor multifunctional court for badminton and basketball with a wall-climbing feature, as well as a squash court, table tennis and billiards.

Outdoor facilities feature tennis courts, a football pitch and a sand volleyball court. Professional coaching and equipment rental are available upon request, allowing guests of all ages and skill levels to stay active during their stay. The Sports Centre also includes a bar with a terrace and a gaming corner equipped with PCs and PlayStation 5 consoles, providing additional options for relaxation and entertainment.

Yes. The gym at the Sports Centre is available 24 hours a day for all guests staying at the resort. Night access is through the side entrance on the left side of the building (marked with a sign).

Yes, grocery store Rosetta is available within the resort.

On-site, guests can visit the Rego souvenir shop in the hotel, the multibrand fashion store, FESTA jewellery, and Rosetta grocery store along the shopping promenade.

You can find grocery shops uphill in village Orašac, as well as in nearby village Zaton offering additional conveniences, such as pharmacy, making it easy for guests to find essentials or local products during their stay.

At Sun Gardens Dubrovnik, tipping is appreciated but entirely at your discretion. While service charges are not automatically added to your bill, guests who feel they’ve received exceptional service are welcome to leave a gratuity. In restaurants, bars and for individual team members (such as housekeeping or concierge), tips can be given directly if you wish. For group events or larger parties, a service charge may be included at your discretion — if included, this will be clearly shown on your bill. We aim to make tipping simple and stress-free: there’s no obligation, just an opportunity to recognize outstanding service if you choose.

It takes about 20 minutes by car/taxi or 30 minutes by public transportation, depending on traffic.

Yes, the resort offers both a video-monitored garage and outdoor parking for guests and visitors. Parking reservations are not available.

Guests staying at the resort can use outdoor parking free of charge and enjoy a 30% discount on garage rates. Standard rates for visitors are: garage €3.50/hour or €30 per day, outdoor €2/hour or €20 per day. Outdoor parking can also be free if your spending at the resort equals or exceeds the daily ticket price (receipt required). All tickets must be paid and validated at the hotel reception, sports centre reception, or parking machines. Parking reservations are not available.

We offer two EV charging stations located on Level 3 of the outdoor parking. Charging rate: €0.40 per kWh. Please note that charging cables are not provided – drivers must use their own. Parking is free with proof of charging payment shown at reception.

Car rental services are available and can be arranged through the Concierge team or directly via the resort APP for added convenience.

Access to Dubrovnik Old Town is restricted to residents and permit holders only, so private vehicles cannot enter the historic centre. Guests arriving by car can use nearby public parking areas (at Ilijina Glavica), while taxis, transfers and local transport offer the easiest way to visit the Old Town. Our Concierge team will be happy to assist with transportation recommendations and arrangements.

The nearest airport is Dubrovnik Airport (DBV), located approximately 35 km from Sun Gardens Dubrovnik. Transfer by car or taxi typically takes around 40 minutes, depending on traffic. The resort can also assist with private transfers arrangements upon request at [email protected].

The resort is perfectly located for exploring the Dubrovnik area. About 10 minutes by car is the Arboretum Trsteno, a Renaissance garden with over 300 species of Mediterranean and exotic trees and shrubs, some over 400 years old, and paths with views of the Adriatic. Nearby villages like Zaton and Orašac feature small bays, stone houses, and local restaurants serving fresh seafood.

The Elaphiti Islands are a short boat ride away, with a private speedboat reaching them in 10–20 minutes. The largest islands Šipan, Lopud, and Koločep are ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring coves and historic villages.  Just 20 minutes by car is the Dubrovnik Old Town; this UNESCO World Heritage site offers stunning city walls, historic landmarks, museums, lively squares, and a vibrant cultural scene.

Guests can reach the property via arranged transfers from Dubrovnik Airport and Dubrovnik city centre or local taxi service. Six suburban west lines (Slano, Orebić, Imotica, Brsečine, Ston and Majkovi) run from Dubrovnik main bus station and stop at Orašac bus station, located just above the resort.   Timetable can be found here. While public buses operate in the area, the most convenient option for direct and comfortable access is the private service, which can be arranged in advance.
