Responsible Retreats

Ahead of the feast of St. Stephen the Protomartyr (August 2nd), Sun Gardens Dubrovnik once again joined the local community in Zaton this year to help green and maintain the grounds of the parish church and rectory.

June brought a fresh focus on sustainability and seasonal living at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik, with two experiences that connected guests more closely to nature and the destination around them.

As part of its ongoing Sustainability Programme and commitment to education, youth development and environmental responsibility, Sun Gardens Dubrovnik was pleased to support two community initiatives in May.

This year’s edition welcomed nearly 300 participants, including professional firefighters, volunteers, and recreational runners, all coming together in support of the cause.

From April 24 to 26, Dubrovnik hosted the three-day Elafiti Slalom regatta – a well-established sailing event that brings together sport, nature, and a strong sense of community. 

Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, is a gentle reminder of how much small, everyday choices matter when it comes to caring for our environment. That’s why this year, we marked the occasion in the best possible way - with little helping hands and plenty of shared learning.
