Dubrovnik Firefighter Race – Supporting a Local Cause

This special event brings the community together to honor firefighters' heroic spirit while supporting a meaningful local cause. It is held in memory of Goran Komlenac, a respected firefighter whose dedication and bravery continue to inspire the local firefighting community. The race includes four categories: a children’s firefighter race, a youth firefighter race, a firefighter race, and a citizens’ race, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities.

Guests and locals are warmly invited to join the race by registering online at www.traceysport.com by June 6, 2025, or simply come to watch and cheer on the runners on race day.

Race Day Schedule:

• 08:00 – Gathering for the children’s race
• 09:00 – Children’s firefighter race starts by age category
• 10:00–10:45 – Pickup of race bibs and packages for the youth firefighter race
• 11:00 – Youth firefighter race (2 laps of 1 km, total 2 km)
• 16:00–17:30 – Pickup of race bibs and packages for the firefighter and citizens’ races
• 18:00 – Firefighter and citizens’ races (2 laps of 2 km, total 4 km)
• 18:30–22:00 – Celebration and entertainment for all participants and visitors at the Oak Tree plateau

Supporting a Great Cause
All proceeds from the Dubrovnik Firefighter Race – “Goran Komlenac” Memorial will support scholarships for students from Dubrovnik-Neretva County facing difficult socio-economic circumstances,  including those without one or both parents. This is in partnership with the humanitarian association Tata je Tata – Dubrovnik.
