May 2026 Overview

Under the theme of supporting a love of reading, the resort sponsored awards and hosted students from Primary School Lapad and Primary School Luka Paljetak, winners of the 10th Dubrovnik-Neretva County Reading Aloud Competition. Following the event, the students enjoyed a recreational visit to the Sports Centre, with activities, refreshments and time spent together in a relaxed and engaging environment. The initiative aimed to celebrate achievement while encouraging continued enthusiasm for reading and learning.

Sun Gardens Dubrovnik also supported the 29th edition of Dubrovnik EKO 2026, an underwater clean-up initiative organised in cooperation with local partners and environmental organisations. Held in the Mlini and Srebreno area of Župa dubrovačka, the event brought together divers from Croatia and abroad to help protect and restore the Adriatic Sea. The resort contributed by providing accommodation for some of the participants, supporting the successful delivery of this important environmental action.

Through both initiatives, Sun Gardens Dubrovnik continues to support education, community engagement and environmental sustainability, reinforcing its commitment to creating a positive impact within the local community and natural surroundings.
