September Art Month

Devoted to creativity and authentic local culture, the programme brought together art, gastronomy, and relaxation in a series of experiences for guests.

Why local artists?

Guests who stay with us come to experience Dubrovnik, and local artists are among the best people to show them its character. By showcasing artists from the city, we aimed to support our community while offering guests selected experiences.

Featured artist

This year's invitation featured the work of Romana Milutin Fabris, a Dubrovnik painter whose style captures the spirit of the city. Her work reflects the atmosphere, colours, and character of Dubrovnik, which made her a natural choice to welcome guests to Art Month. Through her paintings, Romana Milutin Fabris offered guests a personal view of Dubrovnik, one shaped by the light, colours, and everyday atmosphere that make the city so recognisable to those who live here.

Programme

The Wine & Paint workshop invited guests to unwind creatively, with a brush in one hand and a fine glass in the other. The workshop was relaxed and open to guests without prior painting experience, making sure everyone had fun.

Guests had the opportunity to discover her work at the Gallery, giving them a direct connection to both the artist and the place they were visiting, or to join the creative experiences prepared around her work.

Maraska Bar presented signature cocktails created as expressions of flavour and artistry. Each was accompanied by exquisite desserts prepared by the resort's Chef.

Celebrating local creativity

Art Month brought together local art, gastronomy, and relaxation in a memorable guest experience. For the second consecutive year, it supported a Dubrovnik artist and gave guests a creative way to connect with the culture of the city during their stay. As a keepsake of their stay, every guest received a postcard with Romana's graphic, a small piece of Dubrovnik's creative spirit to take home.

Beyond Art Month, the resort also showcases the work of several local artists throughout the hotel and grounds, so guests can encounter Dubrovnik's creative spirit at every turn of their stay.
